The ID card also has a barcode that can be scanned to verify the membership status and access other services provided by the BKU. The BKU ID card is useful for the members as it helps them to get recognition and support from other farmers and organisations. It also enables them to participate in the activities and programmes organised by the BKU. The ID card also serves as a proof of identity and address for various purposes such as opening bank accounts, applying for loans, getting subsidies, etc.
The BKU ID card can be obtained by filling an application form and submitting it along with a passport size photo, a copy of Aadhaar card or any other identity proof, and a membership fee of Rs. 100. The application form can be downloaded from the official website of the BKU or collected from any of its offices or representatives. The ID card will be issued within 15 days of submitting the application.
The BKU ID card is a symbol of solidarity and unity among the farmers who are fighting for their rights and interests. It is also a way of expressing their affiliation and loyalty to the BKU, which has been leading the farmer's movement in India for over three decades.
